guess a good starting point is to state that Blistering Records is the culmination of several life-long love affairs with music... rock music... if you want to be more specific. We are an amalgam of professionals who started out simply as fans.That is one thing that all of us here truly have in common; we really, really love this stuff. However, never the type to be content to stand on the sidelines as mere spectators, each of the members of the Blistering staff at some point in their lives made a conscious decision to run on to the playing field and join the scrum.

Music lovers - musicians - audio engineers - we came from diverse but converging backgrounds. Hmmm.....A music company - for musicians - by musicians. OK, there's another cliché

Romantic? Yes. True story? You betcha'

Our philosophy is simple: treat the artists the way we would like to be treated. We all started out as struggling musicians in bands so we know all-to-well what it feels like to be on the other side of the desk. More than ever with today's tough and ever changing music market survival is determined by understanding, appreciation, innovation, commitment and team-work. We are true supporters of the scene(s) that we help represent and are determined to prove ourselves to be survivors by becoming one of the leading independent record labels for Rock and Metal.

In the years to come Blistering Records hopes to create a creative, friendly and nurturing environment for artists from the classic-era of rock to the cutting-edge of the great as-of-yet unknown. A model and a platform that is mutually beneficial to both the career of our artists and the survival of the foundation which we hope and intend to provide.
